Integrations › Google Health

Google Health,
in the patient’s record.

A patient can connect their Google Health account, the former Fitbit app, from the SteadyStride app. Once they approve, their steps, heart rate, sleep and more record continuously into their PhysioActivity record.

The patient decides who sees it, and can disconnect at any time.

What comes across

Everything Google Health records, in one record.

A wearable records all day, every day. Connected, that continuous data sits in the patient’s record next to their appointments and test results, and a clinician sees it only if the patient shares it.

The patient can stop sharing, or disconnect, at any time.

How practices use it

Progress between visits

See how movement, sleep and heart rate change from one appointment to the next.

Recovery between sessions

Look at sleep and heart rate around a hard session or a rehab milestone.

Sessions the patient recorded

Workouts logged in Google Health appear in the record without retyping.

A fuller record, no typing

Data flows in automatically, so the patient and their clinician start from the same picture.

How it works

The patient connects. They sign in to Google Health from the app and approve. PhysioActivity never sees their password.
Updated every 15 minutes. Data starts from the moment of connection. History from before is not brought in.
Always their choice. The patient can disconnect, in the app or in their Google account.
Read only. Nothing is written to Google Health.
